Rivervale

Rivervale is a small village located west of Pride's Call, nestled between two branches of the Cyrios River at the base of the Cyrios Mountains. The village is primarily made up of modest wooden houses with thatched roofs, though a few stone structures can be found scattered throughout. The population consists mostly of farmers, fishermen, and riverboat workers, who rely on the river for their livelihoods.

One notable feature of the village is the riverboat rental service, which offers tours up and down the river for a modest fee. The rental service is run by a friendly and talkative man named Jarek, who is always happy to chat with visitors about the best fishing spots or local legends.


Rivervale is also known for its annual harvest festival, where villagers and travelers alike gather to enjoy music, food, and games. The festival is a source of pride for the villagers and is one of the few times of the year when the village sees an influx of visitors from neighboring towns and cities.

Rivervale was attacked by a cult and a large blue dragon named Ovondok  near the end of 835 p.d. where a quarter of the population was decimated and the rest were saved with the help of 3 mysterious adventurers.

Rowboats are used on lakes and rivers. If going downstream, add the speed of the current (typically 3 miles per hour) to the speed of the vehicle. These vehicles can’t be rowed against any significant current, but they can be pulled upstream by draft animals on the shores. A rowboat weighs 100 pounds, in case adventurers carry it over land. Need at least 2 people to navigate can hold up too 4 people.
