Personal history
Early life
Once a beautiful city filled with erudite scholars and designed to blend in with the towering trees by masterful elven architects, the metropolis now lies abandoned. The canopy of trees above the ruins is thick enough to block most of the sun, and massive, twisting bramble vines choke the streets and rooftops, spreading into the surrounding woods like veins from a corrupted heart. Crumbling spires lean against trees swollen with disease, halls of learning are smothered by toxic fungus and moss, and a perpetual heavy fog obscures the dangers that lurk in unseen alcoves. All manner of terrible fey creatures now call this city home.

Journey through the Savalirwood
A devil tempted you as you traveled through the wood, he offered you strength, wealth, and powers beyond your imagination. You quickly felt his influence into your mind and realized his deceit. Ignoring him, you went on with your day.
For denying him your soul, he thought it funny to turn you into a toad for 2 weeks finding you every few days asking if you'd accept his bargain now. Still denying him, he eventually gave up and returned you to your true form
Employment
When you first arrived at Shadycreek Run when you were young the Jagentoth crime family took you on to be a courier of secrets and a supplier of drugs. This employment eventually ended when a small conflict broke out in the streets of Shadycreek, you were quickly knocked out and left for dead.
The next thing you knew was that you woke up in the Blooming Grove, a cemetery for noble families that is slowly being overtaken by the Savalirwood. The Clays, a family of pink haired firbolgs, helped you to recover and when you were healthy you set of into the empire.
Mental Trauma
Very long ago you fell in love with a young man, you were very young and had no control over your spores. The first kiss that you both shared ended with tragedy, your spores filling his lungs, convulsion setting in, and ending with death. On this day you made your first kill, and it was entirely an accident.

History
Being apart of a rival family put both of you at odds, during a delivery you were making he attempted to ambush you and take your goods. You swiftly removed 2 more fingers from him with your dagger and disappeared into the woods.

The Clay family gave you some of their savings, knowing that you had little and hoping you would find an answer to why the Savalirwood is overtaking this area of Wildemount.
