Defences
The city is surrounded by a large wall dotted with watchtowers. The outer layers of the wall are made entirely out of red brick, which gives the city its nicknames.
Within the city stands Aurora Castle, which has a direct connection to the Vander. Detractors also call this the Bloodfort.
Next to the castle on a hill opposite the river, mirroring it, stands the Fortress of Dawn - fittingly enough, the headquarters of the Brotherhood of Dawn.
The city is defended by a moat fed by the Vander river as well as by drawbridges and portcullises.
Industry & Trade
The fish trade is the city's largest industry.
There is a quarter dedicated to working with clay (unsurprisingly called the Clayman's Quarter)
There is a central market square in the city, that hosts both daily trade as well as larger faire markets.
The surroundings of the city are quite fertile and are being worked by the peasantry.
Infrastructure
The city is primarily built of brick and wood, with little to no natural stones used in its construction.
It is situated next to the Vander, a large river, and is actively engaged in river trade.
Geography
