Family Ties

• Talia is her best friend, so when she nearly died testing out her homemade wings, Megara flipped. Meg isn’t a fan of the Raven Queen, especially since she called Talia away from home for a mysterious reason, but she trusts Talia and supports her quest.
• Kleeck and Zeed, aarakocra twins who guard the settlement, like to poke fun at her for her poor Aarakocra. However, they greatly disapprove of anyone else teasing her and will turn on anyone who tries.
• Talia’s mother, Pila, housed and fed Megara for four years before Megara got a place of her own. Meg still considers Pila a mother figure and often visits for tea, dinner, or just to chat.
• Light, Meg’s mistress, is a no-nonsense halfling with more muscle than an orc warrior. She refuses to acknowledge “no” as a viable answer and is convinced that anything can be fixed with a little elbow grease. She’s usually right. When Meg broke her leg, Light built her a wheelchair and adapted the smithy to suit it. She says that it’s nice not to crane her head to look her in the eye.
