Representatives of the Dwendalian Empire and Kryn Dynasty met on the Lucidian Ocean, south of the continent, to discuss the possibility of ending the war. As a show of good faith, they also exchanged prisoners of war and a stolen Luxon beacon.

The peace talks took place in neutral waters ten days' travel from Nicodranas. The Dynasty flagship, Blue Heaven, and the Dwendalian flagship, Everstorm, were linked by a broad platform on which the negotiations took place, helmed by Lord Zeddan Graf (with Ludinus at his shoulder) on the Empire side, and Dusk Captain Quana Kryn for the Dynasty. Mirrors were brought and placed facing each other so that the Bright Queen and King Dwendal could speak face-to-face.   Nothing was exchanged on the first day but words, starting around noon. Around mid-morning on the second day, the beacon was brought out and presented to the Dusk Captain. After thorough inspection, it was taken below decks and the prisoners, Vence Nuthaleus and Adeen Tasithar, were brought out in chains and exchanged. A horn blares and blue flags were raised, signifying the successful completion of negotiations. The two fleets disengaged and sailed away from each other.
