Tharûdrim

Tharûdrim, the last remaining Dwarf Kingdom, stands as a testament to endurance and valor, having weathered the relentless onslaught of the Dreadborn. Deep within the craggy mountains, Tharûdrim's grand halls and intricate tunnels reveal the craftsmanship and tenacity of a people who once faced near-annihilation.   The legacy of their war with the Dreadborn is etched in every stone, the scars of battles and sacrifices marking the very foundations. The Dwarven halls are adorned with the tales of heroes who stood firm against the malevolent forces from the Shadowdeep. Yet, the victory came at a great cost, with the once-thriving Dwarven population dwindled.   The survivors, now fewer in number, are fiercely protective of their kingdom, which has become a fortress of stone and steel. The remnants of Tharûdrim's glory days are evident in the ornate craftsmanship of the remaining structures, testaments to a bygone era of prosperity and expansion.   Despite the shadows cast by their dark history, the Dwarves of Tharûdrim are resilient and unyielding, driven by a determination to rebuild and defend their homeland. Their skills in metallurgy and stonework rival the finest in the land, reflecting a deep connection to the earth and its treasures, albeit tempered by the lessons learned from their cataclysmic encounter with the Dreadborn. As Tharûdrim forges ahead, the echoes of ancient battles linger, a constant reminder of the price paid for their survival.
