Aossi

There are many different kinds of Aossi, but they do have a few things in common. They are supernatural beings of a feyish nature. They are long-lived, are able to weave Glamours, and very dangerous. They are relatively few in number compared to humans and though they wield tremendous powers, they also have weaknesses such as an aversion to iron, salt, or certain herbs. Many of the Aossi may resemble dwarves, gnomes, elves, trolls, or even more bizarre creatures.

Aossi Kiths

D'Varus These are a short folk with an affinity for the earth sometimes called "dwarf" in the fables. They are entirely hairless and have skin that is the color of stone and nearly as tough. They are strong, durable, and fine artisans especially in the art of forging. Their Glamours are limited to mostly appearing as a shorter than usual human, but they know the lost art of weaving Dweomers into their forgings to create talismans.   Alfaunis These are a fair folk with an affinity for nature and some bestial aspects sometimes called "elf" in the fables. They are tall, willowy, and have some physical feature of a wild animal. They appear both feral and otherworldly. They are fast, wild, and employ powerful Glamours. Their special affinity with nature aids them with both plants and beasts as well as a general feel of the world nearby.   Gnyym These are a wee folk who hide from the eyes of men and other predators sometimes called "gnome" in the fables. They are quite short, have bulbous noses, and have an over-abundance of hair. They are master shape-shifters and often hide as an animal or unobtrusive shrubbery. They have limited Glamours, but their shape-shifting in truth far makes up for this lack.   Troghel These are giant folk with an infamous appetite sometimes called "trolls" in the fables. They are quite tall, thick-skinned, with monstrous features. They have only a meager ability with Glamors, though they are dangerous more for their combat prowess, hardy resilience, and just plain refusing to die.
