Not much is known about this civilization. They are known by historians only through minuscule archeological digs and writings.

The Palio (Greek for "The Old") is known by historians to be an extremely technologically advanced civilization. There are ancient paintings of Ilithids ruling over a major population of "other" beings. Not much is known about the Palio, and only a handful of people in Ezrion have ever seen an Ilithid. One Ancient Slate has been found and is located somewhere in Wilhelm. Only the Prime Councilmember's know the way to get the Slate.
