Queen Arushnee's mummy is moved to the true tomb and the Oubliette is sealed

Prince Digory l'Intrépide and his two long-time adventuring companions, secretly return to the Oubliette is order to move the mummy to the secret chamber. The problem was, there was no way to lift the body out of the false sarcophagus without touching it. Digory, who was a sentinel and knew that the disease would not harm him--but that his touch could then infect others--voluntarily reached in and hoisted out the body himself.

He singlehandedly carried it down to the true tomb and laid it to rest, then ordered his friends to seal him in with his beloved wife, damning himself to death to save the world from the Plague.

Tearfully, his friends bade him farewell and locked and sealed the final door, then armed the traps and stripped the false tomb to make it appear as though thieves had already broken in. Finally, they removed the outer doors, bricked up the entryway, piled dirt to hide the entrance, and magically created plant growth to mask the hillside forever.
