Elfmark

"Elfmark" carries with it a rich historical significance that dates back to the early formation years of HighGrad. When the organization was initially founded by the High Elves, they introduced a unique monetary system to manage and facilitate their trading operations. This system was based on a form of currency called the "Elfmark".   The Elfmark was not just a currency but a symbol of unity and collaboration. It was intricately designed, imprinted with traditional High Elven motifs that represented their vision of unity and prosperity. The name 'Elfmark' thus became a testament to this shared goal and the co-operative spirit of the early traders.   However, the Elfmark was not merely a medium of trade. The High Elves conceived it as a tool to forge closer ties with different races and cultures. Each Elfmark bore inscriptions in various languages of Faeloria, further reflecting the company's philosophy of unity in diversity. This unique approach made the Elfmark widely accepted and respected, reinforcing HighGrad's burgeoning reputation as a unifying commercial entity.   As time passed and the economic systems evolved, the physical Elfmark currency gradually phased out, giving way to more modern and universally recognized modes of transaction. Yet, the name 'Elfmark' stayed, preserved in the annals of HighGrad's history, and is still occasionally used today as a nostalgic nod to the organization's past. It serves as a reminder of HighGrad's roots and the foundational principles of unity and diversity that continue to guide its operations.
