Pebblebottom

The Gnome clan of Penniesworth reside in the community of Pebble Bottom, nestled in a wooded valley in the picturesque Ticklebelly Hills in the shadow of the Dragonspine Mountains . They live amongst a tight knit clan of Gnomes who trace their lineage back several dozen generations. These Gnomes exist in a largely hunter-gather lifestyle and over have carved themselves a comfortable existence keeping themselves hidden from the troubles of larger folk.
Rare visitors to this valley would be hard pressed to even spot the residences camouflaged in the leafy bowers. However once recognised as friends smiling faces will quickly appear and a warm welcome can be expected. The gnomes here pride themselves on their self-sufficiency but are also quickly excited by magical trinkets. Locals have been known to trade cunningly woven garments of soft rabbit’s fur from as far afield as Thentia .
Largely insulated from the comings and goings of the world outside, the only event of real note in recent memory was the exile of Dustinby Penniesworth. The once celebrated sorcerous performer whose final show during Mid-summers eve caused a conflagration which almost burnt down half the village.
