What a strange place. Everyone is a bit off. The cleric has his heads in the clouds. The leader of the Adventurers Guild doesn't want to adventure. The shopkeepers falsely accuse people of stealing to try and get them taken away by guards. The guards don't want people to know a City Council runs the city. Overall a very place on the edge of the map. I'm ready to leave once our business with Barthel is done.
The only positives of this place are the gambling tables at Lady Luck, Susie's Candles, and the Axiversary party we have planned for tomorrow.
Adventuring
So far we have completed a level 2 quest on accident and a level 4 quest intended for another party that were weak enough to succumb to these "evil gems." What is the standard of these adventurers? The ability to kill a sewer rat qualifies you for admittance? I hope this Barthel fellow can bump us up the ranks, so we can do more of these higher level quests. He seems to have some clout with these Adventurers, so we should do our best to win him over.
