The Tyrant
19th of the Claw of Sunsets (3/19/1491)
General Summary
Upon entering the chamber, the party came face to skull with a Death Tyrant and two of his minions, Ungo and Bungo. Though Ungo and Bungo were quickly eliminated by Guhrok and Fapus Yorbroth, the Death Tyrant Gathalax proved to be a much larger threat. He quickly put Guhrok to sleep thrice and blasted away at party members at random. Both Adrian Avenicci and Kroushanc narrowly avoided a disintegration beam that would have surely killed them.
Unfortunately, Fapus was turned to stone and subsequently removed from reality. His only surviving memento was his spoon, which he hucked at the skull in a final act of valiance.
Fapus's death threw Guhrok into a chaotic rage that led to him leaping off of a pillar and learning to fly while simultaneously slashing away at Gathalax. Though he once again fell asleep, this time floating in the air, he managed to beat the tyrant down enough for Kroushanc to finish off.
The party decided to spend the night with Marco's pirates, before returning to Daggerford to claim their reward.
