Loudwater

Loudwater is a town located on the confluence of the Delimbiyr and Greyflow Rivers, in the Delimbiyr Vale. It is regarded by many to be a picturesque garden of a town, home to a community of humans, half-elves, elves, halflings, and many other races. As the town is located along a large trade route, is is commonly visited by caravan and riverboat drivers, as well as adventurers.

The town lies on both banks of the Delimbiyr River, with a large stone bridge crossing it. This bridge, the Flying Fish Bridge, is notable for the ancient magical wards preserving it. However, the wards have the side effect of causing river trout attempting to swim under it, to be sent flying over it instead. As Loudwater is built on a fairly wide stretch of the Delimbiyr River, the town has a modest harbour.
