As a dragonborn specialising in melee combat, Nathyra is very large compared to most humanoids - standing at 6'4'' and weighing nearly 300 pounds. She's extremely athletic and strong, and displays a surprising dexterity for her large size.

Personal history
Mystan Nathyra was born in Silverymoon in 1464 in a tavern. One of two children, she grew up with both of her parents in the wealthy Northbank district of the city. For the most part, her childhood was generally happy, having made several close friends as she grew up. During her teen years, she began regularly training with the Silverwatch. Even though her parents preferred she study and become their heiress, they either couldn’t or wouldn’t stop her from joining the Silverwatch when she was seventeen. Nathyra's size often gave her an advantage when dealing with the city's crooks.
After spending several years in the guard force, she left for the private sector. A mercenary company called ‘Raven’s Band’ scouted her out, personally recruiting her for their forces. While this was going on, her parents had made numerous poor financial decisions, leaving them in significant debt. Nathyra rose quickly through the ranks, becoming an officer after only three years. With her significant pay, she very quickly paid off a large portion of her parents’ debt - enough to keep them afloat. After eight years in Raven’s Band, she received an offer from Lord Ardentor Aial Vock Tal. He asked her to join him in the newly-constructed Ardent Keep, where she would receive the position of Marshal - and significant pay. She accepted, bidding farewell to her colleagues in Raven’s Band, and made her way to Ardent Keep, where she now resides.

Nathyra spent her early years in Silverymoon, where she came to know many people in the city outside of her family. She also has extensive contacts within the Silverwatch guard, and writes to them regularly, giving advice. Nathyra spent several years as a captain in Raven's Band and maintains the ability to call upon them if needed. As the marshal of the Ardent, Nathyra personally tests every prospective member, and as such knows almost every single member of the organisation on some level.
Family Ties
Prior to joining the Raven's Band, Nathyra lived in Silverymoon with her parents, older brother, and extended family. They remain in the city, but her nephew Rhogar requested to join the Ardent with her - she obliged.
