Western Heartlands

The Western Heartlands are a region of West Faerûn. They stretch from the Sword Coast in the west to the Storm Horn Mountains in the east, and from the Delimbyr Vale in the north to the Lands of Intrigue in the south. The region is dominated by miles upon miles of rolling hills, grassy flatlands, and monster-filled forests. The region is dotted with isolated villages, inns, trading posts, and castles. The primary route of travel in this region is the Trade Way, between Waterdeep and Baldur's Gate, then continuing south towards Amn and Tethyr.
