Captain Mateo Lara

Captain Mateo Lara is the head of the city guard in Athkatla and is fiercely loyal to his country and the Council of Five. He is well known for being the abandoned son of adventurers who grew up on the streets of Amn before forging himself into a fierce warrior. How he rose to lead the city guard is unknown but he does not hide his hatred for adventurers and foreigners.
