The Shadow Market
"The place to go for those who want to make a deal."
The Shadow Market is a trade organization that operates in the shadows, dealing in illegal and hard-to-obtain commodities. They believe in providing a safe and secure marketplace for those who seek to buy or sell items that are outside the law. The members are a network of merchants, smugglers, and adventurers who work together to bring these goods to market and ensure that the clients always receive what they're looking for. Location
The Shadow Market has its main headquarters located in the port city of Baldur's Gate , one of the largest and busiest cities on the Sword Coast of Faerun. From this central hub, the organization is able to coordinate its operations and conduct its business with ease, taking advantage of the city's thriving trade network and bustling port. In addition to its headquarters in Baldur's Gate, the Shadow Market also has smaller outposts and safehouses located along trade routes throughout the Sword Coast. These outposts serve as waystations for the organization's members as they move goods along the trade routes and provide convenient locations for its clients to make deals and exchange goods. Some of the cities where the Shadow Market operates smaller outposts include Waterdeep , Luskan , and Neverwinter , all of which are major trade centers on the Sword Coast. The Shadow Market takes great care to ensure that these outposts are discreet, operating secretly and avoiding drawing attention to themselves or their illegal activities.
