Gundren Rockseeker

He is the brother of Tharden Rockseeker, and the older brother of Nundro Rockseeker and the cousin of Brundi Thundershield. He was also a friend to Sildar Hallwinter, a member of the Lords’ Alliance.
Gundren and Sildar rode two horses across the High Road, but were ambushed and captured by the Cragmaw tribe and Gundren was taken to King Grol of Cragmaw Castle, losing the map to the mine in the process.
Gundren had a map showing the secret location of Wave Echo Cave, but the goblins took it when they captured him. Sildar believes that Klarg sent the map and the dwarf to the chief of the Cragmaws at a place called Cragmaw Castle.
Gundren was rescued by Brundi and her companions from the clutches of King Grol in the Cragmaw Castle. He was beaten and unconscious when they found him.
The Black Spider sent out the doppelganger, Vyerith, to fetch the dwarf and his map. However, Grol did not wish to do so without making some coin in the process.
Gundren was freed after being beaten to near death. He returned to Phandalin with the group and offered then a share of the mine’s wealth once his operation there is up and running and along with his brother, Nundro, administrated the mine.

The brother of Nundro Rockseeker (who he is older than) and Gundren Rockseeker. Cousin to Brundi Thundershield.
The three Rockseeker brothers (Gundren, Tharden, and Nundro) recently located an entrance to the long-lost Wave Echo Cave, site of the mines of the Phandelver’s Pact.
It was confirmed by King Grol that Tharden was captured by the Black Spider.
The dwarf was slain by forces under the command of Nezznar in 1491 DR.
Rockseeker, Nundro

Nundro Rockseeker is a dwarf explorer and the youngest of the three dwarf brothers who rediscovered Wave Echo Cave. Cousin of Brundi Thundershield.
The three Rockseeker brothers (Gundren, Tharden, and Nundro) recently located an entrance to the long-lost Wave Echo Cave, site of the mines of the Phandelver’s Pact.
It was confirmed by King Grol that Nundro was captured by the Black Spider.
After finding its location, the dwarf was captured by Nezznar circa 1491 DR, and thrown in a jail cell in Wave Echo Cave. Nezznar believed that the dwarf knew more information than he initially led on, so spared him. He was interrogated by his drow captor a couple of times per day. After his capture, a doppelganger would assume his form to add leverage to the demands of Nezznar.
Nundro was later freed, and together with Gundren Rockseeker, ran the mining operations at the cave.
