Now you've done it! You've walked into a cavern controlled by Yuan-Ti. You've even managed to stumble right into their closely guarded hatchery. And you still have no clue where Varram is!
You found the Yuan-Ti hatchery. The problem is, it is guarded by a Yuan-Ti Abomination and three Purebloods. Not to mention, the newly hatched young like to swarm and bite. You manage to clear the hatchery, even causing the Abomination to surprisingly attempt to escape but Pubert and Malice manage to cut him off by doubling back to the main corridor. Once the hatchery is cleared, you finally get a much needed long rest by hiding Malice’s Tiny Hut among the trash and debris in the empty room you found. Upon waking as you exit the room, you immediately encounter a patrol of four Lizardfolk and their Yuan-Ti Melison handlers. While the Lizardfolk are easily dispatched, the Melisons both, being injured, attempt to escape. You give chase and as you round the corner you find yourself in a Yuan-Ti shrine full of Yuan-Ti, including their Abomination Priestess. “Sssstop!”, she says. “I do not wisssh to sssee any more of my people harmed. Why are you here? What issss it you sssseek?” You see a Dwarf dressed in in the purple robes of a Cult of the Dragon Wrymspeaker lying unconscious next to her by their altar. “Him”, answers Malice. “We are searching for him. He’s wanted for crimes by our people.” “Thisss fool? Then take him and go. I promise you safe passage from our landssss if you take him and leave now.” You agree and Varram is handed over to you. You are told that Yuan-Ti ritual magic has temporarily drawn his soul from his body but it will return once you are clear of their enclave.
Now, all you have to do is figure out how to get Varram back to the Council while also making your way north to look for the Draakhorn and Maccath the Crimson.
