CM: C11E6 - Zikran Report
General Summary
Continuing their fight against the evil wizard, Zikran, the Planeswalkers threw everything they had at him and his elemental puppets.
Jayce's guardian spirits tore through the one elemental, but it retaliated by completely engulfing him and drowning him inside its watery form. The guardian spirits subsided. Lyra rushed over to pull Jayce's unconscious body from the elemental and quickly revived him. Bardak finished the elemental that had engulfed Jayce while Toby De Term'nd squared off against the other.
Zikran flung spell after spell at them. Jayce went down again, with Bardak rushing to his aid. The other elemental went down, while Lyra squared off with Zikran himself.
Zikran launched another spell, catching both Lyra and Jayce in it, taking Jayce down a third time. Bardak, quickly fumbling in his belt pouch, produced a goodberry from earlier that morning and coaxed the unconscious Jayce to swallow it, bringing him back from the brink once more.
Finally, Zikran fell. As he did, Bardak heard a loud "click", then a thud as the padlock on the Zypheran Tome dropped to the ground. Gazre-Azam came rushing out of the tome in a gust of wind, expanding to his full size and exclaiming loudly, "I am FREE!" Turning to the Planeswalkers, he thanked them, and told them that having held up to their end of the bargain, he would live up to his. One casting of the wish spell was at their disposal, if they could decide on what to wish for. Alternatively, he offered, they could ask him to modify the Zypheran Tome in such as way that they could summon his aid at any time, though only once a day.
Rewards Granted
Gazre-Azam grants the party one casting of the wish spell.
