A dead beacon of hope

This church which many Barovians of the Village Of Barovia would regularly attend. It is located in the northern most region of the Village Of Barovia, but has recently fallen in disrepair.

Abandoned By Hope

Over the course of the last year people have been disappearing on a semi-regular basis. Due to this people are terrified of leaving their homes unless necessary. The local priest, Father Donavich has also become reclusive and no proper funerals have been held in about a year's time.

Atop a slight rise, against the roots of the pillar stone that supports Castle Ravenloft, stands a gray, sagging edifice of stone and wood. This church has obviously weathered the assaults of evil for centuries on end and is worn and weary. A bell tower rises toward the back, and flickering light shines through holes in the shingled roof. The rafters strain feebly against their load. The heavy wooden doors of the church are covered with claw marks and scarred by fire.
