The Roost and the Clerics

General Summary

After Air-Render eliminated the immediate Gnoll threat, The group stacked up and stayed the night among the camp. There was a bit of shore leave feel, and some debauchery going on, but it was all kicked off with the glares from a couple clerics at the entrance to Winter Edge. They warned the group they bring darkness with them. Hugh refers to it as cursed. but there are those who know what the word cursed means, and are skeptical of his use of the word. There was mention of the Dreamwalker maybe being able to help with their problems.
Some of the Knights enjoyed there time in camp, Sha'dran Gortox, Kolbrin moved over to the Drunk Fox, a makeshift tavern at a couple wagon with a pallet like stage for a couple of street performers, dancers, jugglers and musicians. Small appatizer like bits of food and drink available at a moderate price. Hugh would focus on his new Blanket and summoned a Psuedodragon, now going by "X", who seemed curious to the goings on of the world, and emerged as a childlike, catlike companion. While Melech wound up traveling across the camp to play with the Dwarves. He indulged them with Drink and game trying to uncover some details for the future. He was overall relatively unsuccessful. After the drunken dwarves lost interest he found his way back to the groups own camp.
The group got little assistance from the Captain on Duty from Rauvinwatch Keep, as he seemed to be more interested his personal company. He took the info from the group, and in the morning would address it with the Council of Captains in the main pavilion.
The group however would not stick around to continue to deal with any of the residents further. They felt that seeking out the Stone Giant Dreamwalker was more imminent, to rid them of the darkness they carry with them so after Morning routines are complete the group set out North under the guidence of Melech The group spotted a small pack of wandering Gnolls hunting the grasslands. as they attempted to approach with stealth, suddenly the Gnolls would disapear from sight, catching sight of our heros they moved towards each other for a skirmish.
The group moved forward and combat begins...
