Jenny
Former "bath girl" turned shrewd businesswoman, is an influential community leader, and visionary for Klamath's development. Despite her accomplishments and dedication, Jenny faces significant opposition and prejudice from some within the community who look down on her due to her past and profession. This narrow-minded perspective hampers her efforts to bring about positive change and limits the support she receives. The Bathhouse still attracts a clientele that includes the Dunton Brothers, Buck and Chuck. Jenny manages the business with grace and professionalism, ensuring the privacy and satisfaction of her patrons while also providing a safe and enjoyable environment for her employees. She possesses a shrewd business sense and is known for her discretion and ability to handle delicate situations with finesse.
Jenny is a charismatic and persuasive leader, once seen as “ditsy” or “naïve”, is now adept at navigating both the political and social landscapes of Klamath. She has earned the respect of the townspeople through her philanthropic efforts, investing in farming, education, and healthcare. However, while Jenny strives to uplift Klamath and promote progress, the town has fallen under the growing influence of the Klamath Militia. The militia enforces a quasi-militaristic rule, exploiting the chaotic wasteland to solidify their control.
Jenny's determination to challenge the status quo and combat the growing influence of the Klamath Militia drives her to find creative solutions and engage in strategic manoeuvres. She understands that in order to establish lasting change, she must navigate the complex web of politics, power dynamics, and conflicting interests that plague the wasteland.
As the town becomes increasingly divided, Jenny's leadership becomes crucial in fostering dialogue, promoting tolerance, and inspiring unity. She is determined to prove that her past does not define her, and that true progress and prosperity can only be achieved by embracing diversity, respecting individual stories, and rejecting the narrow-minded views of the past.
That said, unless Jenny had her own personal militia to command, the security and comfort of the current Klamath Militia presents a clear threat to her plans. Will the people feel safe enough under her or will the sacrifice more of themselves, livelihoods, and freedoms for the protection the current Militia bring?
