Coldkeep

The Keep is infamous for its constant ice and snow. Just behind its large wooden gates and not moving far past the keeps walls, a constant dark cloud hangs overhead and has for centuries. Few regular villagers or traders live within the Towns walls, instead they are dotted around the outside in more moderate temperatures.

Inside the Keep itself is where most of The Order of the Icewind Knights live. Protecting many valuable artefacts and keeping the Great Evil Nivibu'rae tapped under a large Iron seal in the centre of the courtyard. Coldkeep was built to surround this seal and to protect it. It is said that Nivbu'rea was first sealed hundreds of years ago by a Hero of Castlewell. Sometimes, if you listen carefully, you can hear the demon screeching curses, on the knights, on the villagers, on the world but also on Castlewell.
