Olythia
The largest continent, most of which remains unexplored due to its polar location and generally harsh environments; it’s an irresistible temptation for would-be adventurers. It’s rumored that this is the homeland of goblinoids and giants. Many believe that early hominids traveled here from Vatheon long ago and eventually became the first goliaths. There are also some who believe that a similar change happened to the early Albiorix, thus creating the orcs.
South Olythia is the more populated half of the continent, lending itself to becoming a hub for trade among select tribes and settlements. This lack of self-reliance is something that the North Olythians criticize the southerners about, as they value strength and self-improvement more than gold.
Climate-wise, all of Olythia is cold due to its high elevation, but the north is nigh inhabitable to most creatures. Despite this, North Olythia is home to some of the heartiest folk in all of Far, as well as the largest. Something about the environment closer to the north seems to promote the growth of bones and muscles, as seen with many of the Olythian variants of otherwise small races.
