Personal history

Vaauna was born in Abruan, after her parents' accidental pregnancy while surveying a crop up of strong wild magic. There was a lot of concern when she was born, due to her parents both being Orcs, but it was quickly determined that she had been affected by wild magic while in the womb. As a result, Vaauna is a bit of a wild child, hence the name. Vaauna traveled much of the Abruan province with her parents as they researched the effect the celestial cascade had on the local flora and fauna. Vaauna quickly came to love the work and loved helping capture creatures for study. As she got older, she loved to challenge herself by capturing bigger creatures. Once she hit 18, Vaauna decided she was ready to strike out on her own. Much to the disappointment of her parents, Vaauna did not have much skill with sorcery or druidic magic. She much preferred to deal with problems more physically. Vaauna also quickly went through a stage of rebellion once she was out on her own. Vaauna has a variety of piercings, including a nose ring, and a belly piercing. She has several others as well (I will spare you the details). She would like to get a tattoo at some point.

Rhuk Pride Dagger

Vaauna's childhood friend, but a teenage rival. He fought alongside Vaauna when the tribe went after a green hag. Rhuk, however, believes that Vaauna “stole his kill.” Has held a grudge ever since.

Egni Nettle Tooth

Mother, Circle of Dreams druid. Studies the flora and fauna that have been cropping up after The Celestial Cascade. She had only recently been married during the events of the abyssal crisis. Vaauna and her mother have a close bond, and Egni still hopes that Vaauna will eventually pursue the path of the druid, due to her nature with wild magic and knack for handling animals, but doesn't push her, happy to watch Vaauna pick the path that makes her happy.

Jorokk the Flame

Father, Evocation Wizard who also dabbles in Wild Magic. Prefers fire spells. Sent by the Arcana Guild to study magic and find out how to control the magic shifts caused by The Celestial Cascade. Jorokk is likely where Vaauna gets a good portion of her attitude and humor. Vocally disappointed about Vaauna's refusal to enroll in Wizard/Sorcery school. This differing opinion does cause some tension between the two.
