Arcanum Consortium
The Arcanum Consortium is a large organization of scholars and magical kin dedicated to the advancement of knowledge and magical skills for the betterment of society. The organization is divided into sects based on geographic regions. The members of each sect are counseled by an approved Archmage appointed by the Council of Arcana.
The goals and motivations of each member are generally their own. Archmages generally do not usher members into particular aspirations or objectives but rather offer a place of study and collaboration with other members, though higher-ranking kin in the organization could expect missions that would benefit the organization or region as a whole.
Ranks
Novice (0 Renown): Entry-level members, typically students or apprentices, learning the basics of magic and research. Adept (3 Renown): Skilled practitioners who have proven their magical prowess and contribute to ongoing research. Mage (10 Renown): Established mages who lead projects, mentor adepts, and have access to advanced resources. Magister (25 Renown): Magisters are pivotal in crafting comprehensive training programs and leading large-scale projects that require cross-disciplinary expertise. Archmage (50 Renown): Highly respected in their field, Archmages hold significant influence and command respect within the Consortium. Grand Magus (?? Renown): The singular pinnacle of achievement in the Consortium, the Grand Magus is a leader in magical thought and innovation, holding the highest position of authority and respect.Beliefs
