03 - Investigation at the Manor

General Summary

Alkesday (Sunday) Orastanna 21st & Bleday (Monday),Orastanna 22th 
On Alkesday, the party met with Lord Gianos and he provided some supplies for the party to enable the infiltration of the von Morrin manor. On Bleday, the party went to the mansion south of the city and snuck by using invisibility potions while Nialda distracted the bards by disguising herself as a delivery person bringing the Lady Alma von Morrin's candied fruit. The party discovered war banners and a manuscript that shows a family tree implying that Treno von Morrin should be the Duke of Dern, as he is from a "more legitimate" branch of the family. It was also discovered that he had letters from someone in Caer Dol that imply an attack on Dern is imminent, coins minted in the Midean Empire, banners sewn with the colors of Midea, but with the von Morrin stag rather than the Midean bull, and a Deres coat of arms with the von Morrin stag atop the Keys of Dern with the ducal coronet.
After they left the mansion, the party retired to the Dog and Rose Tavernto discuss their finding and make plans. The party decided to wait another day to tellLord Gianos of their finding in order to give them more time to investigate the family tree in particular.
