House of Deres

The House of Deres is the ruling family of Dern. It has several cadet branches, including the Lines of Derent (Deres), Adomer/Deranna (von Morrin), Donnes (von Donn), and Longthorn (Dartsberry), but its current leader is Risa Deres. The founder of the House of Deres was the semi-mythicval founder of Dern, King Deren, who had three sons, from whom the prinicple lines trace their descent.
