Arrats

Arrats is an arid region on the western border of the Stalic Empire. On its west side, Arrats is characterized by its numerous rugged mountains which are bordered by a huge gorge, at the bottom of which flows the Qaima River and on the other side of which is a desert. Spanning this gorge is a bridge which serves as the official entrance to both Arrats and to the Empire.
As the territory of Arrats expands eastward, its climate becomes more semi-arid, with plains and temperate forests in the south-east portion of the principality. The eastern entrance to Arrats is a gently-sloped path into the mountains, marked by a sign in a lonely patch of yellow grass.
