Council of Elector Princes

The Council of Princes is the current ruling body of the Stalic Empire. The Princes, all of equal rank, and all with vested interest in the Empire's continued success, vote on matters of state.

Members

The Council of Elector Princes is a council with nine seats. The current seats of the council are:
Grand Prince Kimbertos Skotti
Grand Prince Oberwerner von Offenweizen
Grand Princess Shahnaz of the Singing Wood

History

After the death of the last emperor, the council of princes that served him decided to co-rule jointly rather than pick a new ruler from among them. The original seven seats expanded to nine with the addition of the Singing Wood and another territory to the empire. Since each member of the council is of equal standing, the total number of seats is required to be an odd number to avoid tied votes.
