Vy'Thek
Vy’thek is the chieftain of a group of Orcs that got captured and enslaved by the band of Hill Giants led by Chief Nosnra. At some point, she and the tribe’s spiritual leader Shugluk Elf-Butcher led the Orcs in rebellion against the Giants and took up residence with a group of Troglodytes in the caves beneath their fortress. The Giants then sent the Tusk Takers to track them down, and many Orcs were captured and held prisoner.
Vy’thek and Shugluk had a disagreement, which led to Shugluk finding a group of adventurers to help free the captured Orcs and lead the tribe to freedom. Vy’thek became allies of the adventurers, and together they led another uprising and killed all the giants on the floor above—with the exception of Nosnra, who they took prisoner, and Xuom, who escaped.
Later, Vy’thek came to the aid of the adventurers again when they stormed the fortress of the Fire Giant King Snurre, bringing a cadre of Orc warriors with her to support the charge inside.
Once the adventurers finished their quest, they offered Vy'Thek and her tribe the opportunity to work for the Stalic Empire as mercenaries (a fate surely preferable to the alternative, which was likely extermination at the hands of Imperial soldiers). Vy'Thek agreed to this solution.
