Nilam

Nilam is one of the seven Primary Deities. He is the god of death, justice, winter, and love. He is also the patron deity of Tigue.

Divine Domains

Clerics of Nilam are often, but not exclusively, Death Domain, Grave Domain, or Twilight Domain clerics.

Holidays

The third day of the Fennengathian week, Amday, is named for Nilam. Most funerals and memorial services are held on Amday. Many marriages also take place on Amday, especially those of royalty, nobility, or other state importance.
Nilam is most closely associated with the holidays of:

• Hivercrest 
• Bethtide 
• Evensaed 
• Evenight 
• Grimfyr 

Nilam is worshipped more during the cold months, in order to pay respect to the face of death, but the face of love is also celebrated come spring. He is most strongly tied to Grimfyr because of the holiday's macabre traditions.
