Forgedsouls

One of the great secrets of magic that was lost after The Reset  a race of sentent constuts with a limited time on this plane.

The loss of power.

When the world split apart after The Reset  most Forgedsouls memories were damaged forgetting to process to recharge there systems and as such went into a deep hibernation to save power witch many still are in this day.

Lost and Found

First rediscovered in the year 3657 by a Gnome called Kashim Forge in a ruin at the north of Daran the forgot much and was renamed to Scrap Metal who told them most of the knowledge about the Forgedsouls and that they are a true sentient race but thanks to the hibernation and being woke up as the search of ruins like the one Scrap Metal was in but because of there limited life span many of them are in only have 7-1 years left to live if they don't find what their power source is.

End of the line

Because the way to power them is lost some of them have used up their time, witch if that happens they will ever shut down forever or go crazy or feral and attack anyone they see.

Made for a job

As they are made for a specific purpose they are broken down into different designation of Defender's, Helper's, Lancer's, Scout's, and Tinker's each of them built of a purpose mainly to be an army but some made to serve and protect the high class.

Basic Information

Anatomy

When taken apart all Forgedsouls have a similar build with a metallic skeleton with a thin cord of electrum attaching the bones and power core in the placed in the middle of there spine that is always visible but protected normally by a hardened glass, on the underside of the plating is etched in electrum is a nerve like system.

Growth Rate & Stages

With there robotic form they do not grow, but they do require power they can hold enough power for them to last for 20 years but at that point, they need to recharge but the way that they do that has been lost and they themselves don't remember with the power surge of the The Reset.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Whilst there is no need for a Forgedsouls can place food within them if they have a mouth as part of the body that is then broken down to its base form.

Civilization and Culture

Naming Traditions

Less of a name and more of a designation they are named so tell people and each over their purpose, a swordsman made be named Saber, a Butler may be named Helper and a bodyguard may be named sentry.

Gender Ideals

There is no true gender for a Forgedsoul but they may be designed to look male or female but most have an androgynous form.

Average Technological Level

One of the most advanced pieces of technology that survived The Reset as a living form of technology.

Major Language Groups and Dialects

Most Forgedsouls know an old form of Dwarvish but may know a different language depending on who they were built for.

Common Dress Code

Normally not clothes except those that are made to be servants.

History

Made with in the later years before The Reset they were the prized and last creation of the Frost Dwarves by finding an artifact relic called The Well of Life that they found and placed with a colossal body in their main facility of Stryconent that they called Mydren one and it is from him and his knowledge of the well that the Dwarves were able to place souls into their creations and bring them to life.

Conservation Status

As they are one of the biggest technological discovery any Forgedsoul that come to or are found in Daran they are treated with the greatest of respect but some just want to tinker with them and learn more about how they are made or how to make them for themselves.
