Jarhes' Resonating Tube is a tool created to assist magicians in scrying, or to be precise, in farhearing. When one speaks into the tube, the cloth inside vibrates with the voice. By infusing mana into the object, it signals it's presence and properties to arcanists around. Even a relatively unskilled magician is capable of detecting it from many hundreds of meters and understanding what is being spoken.

It however does not differentiate between those who are allowed to listen to it and those who aren't. That's why most messages passed through it are encrypted.

Manufacturing process

Two pieces of tin tube are prepared, typically 15cm in length and diameter. Runes are carved into the metal and then filled with white gold. The pieces are then combined into a longer tube with a piece of cloth stretched on the inside.
