The only road in the region is the one going to and from Mistshore to the guard-post next to the only bridge to the south, and then continues on to the eastern guard-post that safeguards Rockshore to the east.

The weather cycles includes the cold raw winter with snow- and hale-storms that bites through the fog and lasts for weeks at a time and the warmer rainy summer with a much thicker fog

Mistwood Region got its name from the extreme cloud of fog that reaches from the coast in the west to the tall mountains and hills to the eastern midlands.
The thick fog covers the the tall woods around the large trading city of Mistshore and makes travel extremely dangerous for anyone unexperienced or unlucky enough to come across one of the many monsters who roams the dark forest.

It is said that somewhere deep in the forest an old village lays in near ruins, close to the rocky coastline, the small settlement sleeps in the misty hollows between the mountains and the sea.
It is also said that the an area is being plagued by a mysterious rider that have made any exploration accessible just to the north of the town of Mistshore.
