Epistemologists of Orilla
Epistemologists reside in the monastery outside of Llyfrgell Oryllian where they are trained in all manner of skills which would allow them to gather information from all over the world. They are some of the most highly skilled thieves, cryptographers, forgers, copiers, spies, etc the world knows. They are also not to be trifled with in a fight! They have been able to steal/copy/memorise personal journals of kings and queens; sneak into dragons' lairs and remove scrolls; uncover the most ancient of hidden knowledge buried in tombs; and these are just examples of their capabilities. They are also exceptionally good at disguise be it physical or magical in nature. Alternatively they are experts at deception and subterfuge. If none of the above is feasible, the Bibliothecaries of Orilla have an exceptional wealth that they can offer in exchange for what knowledge they desire, for knowledge is power, power is wealth, and they do not lack knowledge.
The Epistemologists are responsible for the gathering of information to be brought to Llyfrgell Oryllian where the Bibliothecaries of Orilla will then deal with the information. Interestingly, the Epistemologists can not comprehend what they read despite being experts at writing and copying, which includes a near perfect copy of any original works handwriting.
All Epistemologists are dedicated to Orilla. They will however also worship, to a lesser extent, the likes of Cyric, Freyr, Mask, Gond, and Cryss.
