Avinik
Avinik is home to the Four Nations, Drakar, The Dwarven Confederation of Ungarri, Danor, and Risur.
On the Eastern third of the main body of Avinik are the rough and untamed mountains of Ungarri. A land that seems to have avoided the yoke of civilization. Below the surface of the rough mountain land however lies a confederation of Dwarven Nations. Calling themselves The Dwarven Confederation of Ungarri, this confederation spreads from the coasts of the Endless Ocean to the base of the Penance Peaks. It is a land rich in rare stones and valuable metals. In fact it is likely that regardless of what nation mints it, a majority of the coins on Avinik originated from an Ungarri mine.
West of the Penance Peaks lies the kingdom of Drakar. Centrally located on Avinik, Drakar has become known for trade. Blessed by the goddess Waukeen, nearly all international trade goes through one of the ports of Drakar, or travels along its well maintained roads. Drakar is also home to the Mirsk Forest, and has land made fertile by the multiples rivers that descend from the penance peaks to the East and the Shadowkeep Mountains to the North. Before trade became its main feature, Drakar was known for timber, and that remains its biggest export.
Continue West and you will reach the Malice Lands, a large desert with little in the way of civilization. Home to small villages, nomadic barbarian tribes, and fauna as dangerous as the land itself, the Malice Lands truly lives up to its name. A highway known as the Trade Roads connects the Kingdom of Drakar with the Duchy of Danor. about halfway along its length and situated around an oasis lies the Desert Jewel, Orithea. A free city-state, Orithea owes allegiance to neither Drakar or Danor. The Malice Lands Northwestern edge turns into the Sentinel Mountains. A desolate range that stands guard against any foolish enough to attempt to travel Northwest into the Deadlands. The Deadlands are devoid of all traces of life, but none of the dangers. Little is known about the Deadlands as travel through it is extremely dangerous, and no significant reason has been found to risk it.
Southwest of the Malice Lands are the sun-kissed coastal plains of Danor. Cradled by the lower half of the Sentinel Mountains to the Northwest. These mountains receive large amounts of rainfall, which flows Southeast through the heart of Danor and into the West Sea. Believed to be due to the minerals and nutrients picked up by the water in the Sentinel Mountains, Danor is famous for its grapes and wine. Vineyards cover the countryside of Danor, and has become so ingrained in the culture of Danor that a trellis heavy with grapes is the official symbol of Danor.
The subcontinent of Onaka is home to the kingdom of Risur. There was another nation of Ber, however the Risurian Wars saw it absorbed into The Risurian Empire. After the war the ransacked land lacked the stability to declare itself independent, and remained a part of Risur. Onaka is divided by The Windswept Peaks, a mountain range that extends from the Northern shore of the West Sea, to the Southern banks against the Endless Ocean. Onaka is majority grasslands, home to the most sought after horses in Fiore. The open fields also support roving bands of Orcs and Gnolls, as well as far larger monstrosities that have given rise to trophy hunting in the plains of Onaka.
