Prime Minister of Trintok
The Prime Minister is the highest authority in the government of Trintok. Trintok is a meritocracy, so the Trials required to become the Prime Minister are considered the hardest Merit Exam in the nation. The difficulty of the Trials means that there is not always someone worthy for the position of Prime Minister. During such times, the Council of Ministers rules in their stead.
Qualifications
To qualify, you must pass the Trials: three challenges created by the Founders of Trintok to determine who would be worthy of this position. There are the Trial of Self (aka the Stranded Trial), the Trial of Diplomacy (aka the Sedentary Scavenger Hunt), and the Trial of Youth (aka Boot Camp).
Once Prime Minister, you must continue to be worthy of the position, so the Trials must be retaken every three years.
Requirements
The pre-requisites for even attempting the Trials include the following. You must have at least one peer reviewed research publication. You must pass the Merit Exam for the Council of Ministers. And you must be nominated by enough people, though the number required is dependent on their ranks in the Meritocracy of Trintok.
Appointment
As with the Merit Exams for every other position in the Trintokite government, once you have passed the Trials you are immediately eligible for the title and position of Prime Minister.
Duties
The Prime Minister guides the Council of Ministers to do what is best for Trintok, for the people of Trintok and for the diplomatic position of the nation.
Responsibilities
The Prime Minister leads the Council of Ministers in their day-to-day tasks, and has the last word on all decisions. The PM is also responsible for all diplomatic tasks and oversees any and all ambassadors.
Benefits
The Prime Minister is entitled to a seat on the Interplanetary Council.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
When retaking the Trials, if the Prime Minister fails any one of the Trials they are immediately stripped of the title and position.

Prime Minister Kenzie is the youngest person to pass the Trials.
