Chaac c {planet}

A planet with hugely windy skies and dangerous poisonous rain and lakes. It is populated by both human Settlers, and native humanoid creatures.

The parent star of the planet was named Chaac after the ancient Mayan rain god, after water was detected on Chaac c.

Geography

The Settlers settlements are located around the Capital where the humans first arrived. A lot of the planet is still uncharted and hostile territory

Ecosystem

The planet is home to a rich indigenous eco system. The precies resemble the species of Earth, but are biologically distinct.
The plants primarily use purple pigment for photosynthesis

Super storms occur frequently, and demand survival methods from the animals, plants and people.
