Dirce

The Goddess of the Sky, said to be the daughter of Kapaneus, though who he was has been lost to the whispers of time. Dirce is sovereign over all that finds itself in the air. Whether it be an animal, the weather or the sun and moon, it's said to be under her control. Many have debated over the years how much of this is true, but it can not be denied that the sky's are hers.
Whether it's for the rain for harvests, for a good breeze on the sea or that birds of prey will leave well enough alone, Dirce is the one that is being prayed to.
Representing the freedom of an individual, their ability to travel, to express themselves, to show the world around them what they desire. Dirce is intertwined with Freedom as much as the Sky.
