Barittia

Barittia Derunadel was not always a dark Sister of Heme, consumed by her thirst for power and the use of dark magic. In fact, she was once a bright and ambitious young woman, driven by a desire to learn and understand the arcane arts.   As a child, Barittia was fascinated by magic and spent much of her time studying ancient tomes and scrolls, searching for any scraps of knowledge on the natural powers she could find. Despite the challenges she faced as a woman in a world dominated by men, she was determined to become a powerful druid and make a name for herself.   As she grew older and more skilled in the use of magic, Barittia began to travel the Ravenlands, offering her assistance and guidance to those in need. She worked alongside Fosco and Iron Guards of the Rust Church.   However, as she delved deeper into the darker aspects of nature, Barittia became more and more ruthless in her pursuit of power. She began to dabble in experimental magic and reckless spell-casting, ignoring the potential consequences of her actions.   Over time, the constant and excessive use of dark magic began to take its toll on Barittia's body and mind. Her skin became porcelain-like and she was rumored to be unable to feel heat, cold, or even touch. Her hair turned a flaming red and her eyes became pitch black, giving her a frightening and otherworldly appearance.   Despite the rumors that she was nothing more than a "machinima," a puppet without emotions, Barittia's innermost self was not consumed by darkness. Instead, it was her desire for power and her ruthless pursuit of it that led her down the path of a cruel and merciless Sister of Heme, feared and reviled by all who crossed her path.
