General Summary

Part 3: The Spider's Web (continued)

1. The session began as the party continued exploring the ruins of Thundertree
2. The party encountered a house with spiders laying in wait, upon clearing the house and inspecting the interior, they found the cocooned corpse of an elven adventurer who had been carrying a short sword +1
3. The party laid the body of the elf to rest observing what they believed to be proper funeral rites for elves
4. Continuing on, the party encountered a group of dragon cultists camping out in the ruins
5. Not trusting their intentions, the party attacked and defeated the cultists and took their loot intended for tribute to the dragon Venomfang
6. After further exploration, the party found the town square holding the statue of Palien, an old hero of Neverwinter who defeated monsters in the forest when Thundertree was founded
7. The party began clearing the barracks when the session ended
