History
80+ DB was born out of a shared dream and a series of fateful choices. Elphariel, a retired Purple Dragon Knight and grandmother to Feirah, longed to start a band that would bring joy and music to the world. With Feirah’s help, they gathered an unlikely group of misfits: Argus, an old soldier yearning for purpose; Beppy, a reformed Kobold Druid searching for companionship; Kai, a Warlock with a mysterious past; and Munta pron, a Wizard with a fractured mind.
Despite their eagerness, their initial performances were disastrous, leaving them mocked and rejected. In a moment of desperation, Feirah struck a deal with Vilus, a sinister Satyr, promising the band fame in exchange for their service. With Vilus' influence, they gained popularity but found themselves entangled in increasingly dark tasks. They infiltrated courts and befriended nobles, all while distributing enchanted rings that furthered Vilus's agenda. Their journey twisted into a web of deceit and treachery, with each step taking them closer to a destiny tainted by blood.
In their final mission, they were tasked with performing at a royal wedding, a ruse for an assassination that would plunge the realm into chaos. As the queen fell, betrayed by those she entertained, the band members faced the consequences of their choices. Elphariel sacrificed her soul, transforming into a demonic knight; Kai embraced his Infernal destiny; Argus and Beppy sought redemption in their own ways; Munta Pron fled to find freedom from his dark pact; and Feirah, left with the bitter taste of their deeds, was handed a future forever marred by the shadows they had summoned.
The band 80+ DB had set out to claim fame, but in the end, their music became a requiem for what they had lost—honor, innocence, and the dreams they had once cherished.
Disbandment
After the killing of Queen Raedra Obarskyr, the band fled the palace, with Kai and Elphariel both transforming into devils, Munta pron being left in the forest and Beppy and Argus transporting to Feirah. They would not perform hereafter as they were now Cormyr's number 1 fugitive.
