Berrian was a warlock in service to an unnamed archfey. He spread chaos by tempting people to corrupt their morals in pursuit of powerful magic items.
In the city of Yartar, Berrian used celestial sheet music to coerce famous bard Calleigh Highsong to endanger innocent people. He also tempted Jerboa in pursuit of the legendary sword Desert Wind. While Calleigh did eventually harm many people through her careless actions, Jerboa resisted. Instead, Berrian drove a Bedine noble, Salid Desai, to attack Jerboa, resulting in Desai's death.
Berrian was killed when he pushed Jerboa and his friends too far, primarily through his complicity in Calleigh's carnage. The party looted his cache of magic items, including Desert Wind, and donated much of his wealth to the temple of Tymora in Yartar.
Recently, the marid noble Khedive Qadira indicated Berrian is not actually dead.
