Union of Eternal Wisdom
The Union of Eternal Wisdom was a front organization for the yuan-ti, claiming to oppose the yuan-ti and promote the wisdom of the ancient serpent gods. They used a soporific tea to weaken the wills of their members, rendering them susceptible to suggestion and unlikely to question authority or look too deep. The specific collection of alchemical ingrediants occasionally induced violent psychosis in rare cases, and fatal neurological shutdown in others.
With the death of its leader, the yuan-ti Laszlo and revelation of its true purpose, most of the Union fell apart. A few souls who believed in its false purpose are attempting to continue its work, so far with little success.
