Sanaar Nemonis served as Knight-Commander of the Platinum Bulwark for seven years. In 1492 DR, Sanaar was disfigured and badly wounded defending Queen Surina from tanarukk in an apparent attack by visiting dignitaries from Eskorn. Though his scars and scarred eye could have been healed using divine magic, he instead decided to keep the scars as a reminder and retired from military service. Three years later, he was elected senator.
In just one term as senator, he has forged his own nationalistic political coalition dedicated to strong military power in defense of the kingdom and in opposition to the encroaching tyranny of foreign empires. This coalition is a small minority in the Relmorn Senate, but wields considerable influence.
