Born Talathera Vesthrak, daughter of King Korax Vesthrak. She was groomed to be the next monarch of Relmaur, but the royal bloodline shifted to the Prexilmorev family through Surina Prexilmorev. Talathera faithfully served Surina as diplomat and intelligence operative until her death at Thessalia on Alturiak 27, 1494. She was 32 years old.

Noble Birth

Born in 1472 to King Korax Vesthrak and Lady Larantha Ravindar. Talathera was raised with all of the privilege of nobility at the Vesthrak estate in Blackdagger Pillar alongside her eleven siblings. There was no way of knowing who would become monarch when her father died, but ever since the founding of Relmaur, the crown had always passed to a child of the Vesthrakian bloodline. It was therefore necessary that she be trained as if she would someday be queen.

Her Father's Passing

Talathera was fortunate to have the chance to say goodbye to her father as he departed for a routine trip to the surface to meet with the human tribes who supported Relmaur with their agricultural produce and to whom Relmaur had pledged their defense.

Service to the Queen

It came as a surprise to see the crown pass from her family for the first time in history.

History

Tara first met Surina the day Surina was crowned monarch. Tara was physically 18 years old at the time, two years older than Surina, but Tara was able to quickly earn Surina's trust. This wasn't difficult considering that Tara was already intimately familiar with the Surina of her own timeline.

Tara served Surina well during the Orc Uprising, assassinating the orc chieftain who was the kingpin of the orc raids that had killed King Korax Vesthrak just weeks before. The Orc Uprising was over in weeks, allowing Relmaur's forces to pivot toward the Underdark and face the unprepared Drow Cult of Thaartaag, the primordial dragon. With Tara's knowledge of the Underdark beneath Relmaur, the Drow Cult was quickly conquered and the drow elves released from a dark curse that twisted their minds toward cruelty.

Since then, Surina has been very supportive of Tara's goals to create a secret organization of elite soldiers to protect Relmaur from outside threats and to also bring hope to the world.
