Languages

Forterre is a world that exists without a common tongue as each of the many peoples of the world have developed their own form of communication over the years. Though the most commonly spoken language is that of Alavin it is equally common to find yourself in pockets of the world where no one speaks the language. Due to this many nations strongly encourage their people to learn as many languages as they can so to be better prepared to survive.
This list is not a definitive list of known languages in the world. If a player wishes to speak a language not listed speak with the game master first to ensure that the language is represented in the game world.
